Each fall, we hold elections for MAPOR’s Executive Council, and this year, we have openings for Associate Conference Chair and Vice-President/President-elect. We are in the process of finding candidates for these offices, and we are hoping members can nominate people to run for these positions.
If you have suggestions of MAPOR members, including yourself, who would be a good fit to serve MAPOR and our members, please send an email to nominate yourself or anyone else to sterrett-david@norc.org.
We are happy to answer any questions about the positions, and we greatly appreciate all nominees as MAPOR depends on the generosity of its members who give their time, expertise, and commitment to the organization.
In addition to nominees to elected positions, you can email names of people who you think may be interested in joining the council in other non-elected capacities.
Please submit this year’s nominations no later than Monday, September 7, and the ballot for this year’s election will be submitted to our membership the week of September 14th.
